Haven at perrenporth can’t be more recommended if we tried…so clean and well kept staff so kind and helpful..great facilities and the pool was just fab..our caravan was just like new..had full size fridge freezer dishwasher and microwave…also Bluetooth speaker programmed into caravan we was sad to leave but already booking for next year…
Not a single bad thing to say. Staying in a budget caravan which is spotless and has everything I need. Walking distance to the spectacular Perran Sands (steep walk back up) Site is spotless. Had a small maintenance issue that was addressed and fixed within half hr of reporting. Lovely pool inc lazy river outside. Pleasant staff, parking next to caravan (number 410) and have slept like a log all week. Really excellent and as a solo female traveller..I have felt safe and in good hands throughout my minibreak. Brilliant base for South Cornwall. Definitely visit Godrevy if you get the chance. Great work Haven!
Just back from a week at perransands. This was our sixth year going. The park itself is lovely, lots of nice walks, parks, great entertainment, friendly staff. Location is great. We travel out most days to explore Cornwall as there is so much to do nearby.
Just a couple of things that was negative this year. I left mine and my daughters very sandy sandals on our decking overnight but unfortunately someone decided to take them. The reception staff were very apologetic although it was no fault of theirs.
Perransands alway seem to have trouble with ants around accommodation which is always dealt with swiftly. However this year we were plagued by them. We followed all advise to have food in cupboards, not leave food or drinks out etc but they got everywhere. Only safe place to put food and drink was the fridge.
Lastly I booked a platinum van before the grade change but was allocated a silver. I queried this as it should of been gold and was told it was correct. However on return Iv learnt we were definitely downgraded for what we paid for.
However I booked for next year before we even finished our holiday and I can’t wait.
This year has been a record year for holidays in the UK next year is expected to be even better.
